Welcome!

My name is Malene, and I am a trained fashion designer from the Royal Danish Academy of Design, with 24 years of experience in the fashion and lifestyle industry. I have worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for many years and have taught design at several design schools in Copenhagen—where my primary goal was to inspire others to unlock their creative potential. My passion lies in combining aesthetics and craftsmanship with creative immersion and communication.

With extensive experience in the fashion industry and a background in design and color theory, I aim to merge drawing, style history, and techniques to create something unique and meaningful.

As an educator, I am passionate about sharing my professional knowledge and creative toolbox. I have a special affinity for helping creative souls—ranging from budding entrepreneurs to seasoned designers—find their direction and strengthen their visual identity.

Throughout my career, I have worked on everything from concept development and color theory to design analysis and branding. I am driven by the desire to share the knowledge and expertise I’ve accumulated with other creatives—whether they are just starting out or seeking to elevate their projects to new heights.

My motivation as an educator is to create an inspiring learning environment where my students can delve deeply into their craft, develop their skills, and find the balance between creativity and structure. I believe that creative work can bring both calm and meaning to a busy life, and I aim to help my students express their personal vision through strong design choices and visual storytelling.

My teaching approach is practical and down-to-earth, but always with an artistic and professional edge. I help you understand the small details that make a big difference and build your creative confidence so you can create something both meaningful and beautiful.
